First Day of School year 2017-2018

This school year is a little bit emotional for me because it is the first and only year that all three of my girls will be in Elementary school together. I guess Meika did go to preschool there the year before, but I don't really count that! The girls were really excited the night before and wanted to have a sleepover on the floor of Meika and Norah's room. Adeline also joined in and they each had their clothes laid out by their bed. Excuse the mess.... it's normally not that bad!


















Of course like 10 minutes before I was supposed to go get the kids, we had a MASSIVE hail storm. Anders was screaming while we ran up to the school because the hail was pelleting us right through the umbrella. Once I got the girls and ran back to the car, we were all soaking wet!! It was quite the end to their first day of school!

Adeline's 10th Birthday!

Double digits!!! Its crazy how fast the time flies. I don't like it at all! Adeline decided that she just wanted to celebrate with her best friend Sydney. She wanted to go out to lunch at Panera Bread, and out to Manitou Springs to play at the penny arcade. At this time in Adeline's life, she has discovered a lot of things that she loves. She has discovered that she loves running and has also found a love for cooking. She is such a hard worker, dedicated, thoughtful and way too mature in some ways. She has her head on her shoulders extremely straight and doesn't have a hard time figuring out right from wrong. We love you so much Adeline!

Rest of Summer 2017

We drove back to Utah the end of July to attend Maggi and Jason's wedding. It was fun hanging out with the Barkers and I also took the wedding pictures!

Roni was super sweet and bought Adeline the cutest birthday cake to celebrate her birthday early!










While we were there, we did a quick trip up to Provo to see the Scheid twins and I took their pictures!


We got an awesome new park in Colorado Springs!

Kindergarten prep night!


Kids ran a little kids race at the Colorado Classic. The kids race actually ended up being kind of a bust (the kids still had fun), but we did sit and watch the 1 mile run. That's when we saw all the Kokopelli kids running and looked up the program!!
