Once we got to Colorado, Norah would ask me everyday, "Mom, have you found a school for me yet?". She wanted to go so badly, but I wasn't really in a hurry to send her. Most of the Preschools were full with long waiting lists and/or they were crazy expensive. One day I got an email from a group of ladies in my ward recommending Miss Rachael's in home preschool and how much they loved her. I got a hold of her and she randomly had one slot barely open up that Norah was able to fill! Norah attended for a couple hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday and loved it. The class was filled with mostly boys, but that didn't phase Norah. She made friends with everyone and one day when I came to pick her up, she was running around the playground while all the boys were chasing her. I asked her what she was playing and she said "knights and princesses. I was the princess!" Love that girl!
Right after the Christmas break, I enrolled all the girls into ballet. It ended up being 25 minutes away and was not close to being professional at all, but it was super cheap. Overall, the girls had a good time and enjoyed it. I do have to say that Norah complained a lot about it. She thinks that dance is REALLY boring and didn't want to do it anymore. I told her she had to finish what she started and that she wouldn't have to do it again! Their recital was in a dark high school gym, but it was so cute seeing the girls dance!!
About a week or two before the recital we were told that there wasn't a photographer to take all the dance photos of all the classes. Reluctantly, I decided to would buck up and do it so I would have pictures of my own kids and their classes. It was a lot of work, but I was so happy I did!
