Waite's visit Germany!

Just a couple days after we got home from Berlin, Amanda and Mason came with their cute little girls! It was so much fun having them here and spending time with them. The little girls played constantly together and were in heaven. Norah and Claire were like little soul mates and just "got" each other. It was fun seeing them bond. While they were here, we went to Maastricht, Aquana (indoor water park), downtown Aachen, Henri Chapelle American Cemetery & War Memorial on Memorial Day, Sittard and of course to our local park and ice cream joint.













































I told Amanda and Mason that I would watch the girls for three nights/four days so they could go on a little getaway. I mostly stayed at home and let the girls play. I didn't dare to explore too much with all of them since I had a 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 year old! Of course I was super pregnant too and looked like a crazy lady dragging around all 5 of them! We did venture out to our local ice cream store, the park and I did brave the market with all of them. It was so fun getting to know those cute little girls even better. I miss them!!

Mom & Grandma Visit (Part 3, Berlin)

When asking a friend what her favorite things to do were in Berlin, she suggested that we go on a Fat Tire Bike Tour. We decided that was probably the best way to see the city, so we signed up for it our first day. I am so happy that we did it! We were able to see so much more than we would have and the kids enjoyed it too. Adeline was on a little tag-a-long bike behind Abe's and those two were hilarious. They were racing, standing up, Adeline was quite often raising her hands, etc. They were a lot of fun to watch. Norah sat in a bike seat behind my mom and Meika sat in one behind me. My Grandma hadn't ridden a bike in 30 years(?), but she hopped right on and honestly I was having a hard time keeping up with her! It was a blast.



















































Our second day in Berlin we decided to go back to the wall memorial and then we walked around the city a bit more. We were a little lost as what to see since we saw so much the day before!



I was a lucky girl to be with my mom and my grandma on Mother's Day!!





We loved spending so much time with you mom and Grandma!! I'm sure you guys were completely sick of us by the end though!!
