Adeline's 9th Birthday

Ever since Adeline turned one, she pretty much has had a big birthday party every year. I told her that we were going to start doing a party every other year, but could do something small with a couple friends. She wanted to go to Lulu's with some of her close girlfriends and then we picked a day to go to Elitch Gardens, in Denver. I can't remember who got sick, but either Meika or Anders got sick and Abe had to stay behind with them. I took Adeline, her friend Rylee and Norah to play. It was a fun night!

Crazy that Adeline is already 9 years old. It is fun watching Adeline grow up. She has always had a determined (somewhat hardheaded) personality and there have been times when it makes it hard to parent her! As she is getting older and wiser, these traits are definitely a positive attribute! I feel like she has her head on really straight, she makes such good choices with friends and she is still really determined. Determined to do well in school, please people around her, be a good friend, excel at the things she loves. She has become such an awesome little runner and is putting a lot of energy into that. It will be fun to see where it takes her :) Between her determination, competitiveness and the little energizer bunny she has in her... it makes for a great runner! She is also a very skilled artist. She is always drawing these amazing pictures and portraits. She definitely doesn't get that skill from me! Adeline, you are such a sweet, talented girl and we love you so much!!!
