Little Pool

Yesterday we decided to get out the little frog pool since it has been in the 90's the past couple of days. Let's just say that Adeline was in HEAVEN! I'm pretty sure she was either in her swimsuit or naked the entire day playing in her little pool. I am excited that she will sit in it and play for hours. I may actually be able to lay out and read a book or something this summer :) After 7pm, Adeline was still playing in her pool with her little friend and and was FREEZING cold (the water was cold)... we had to make her get out and she had a melt down the rest of the night until we finally got her to bed. That's all she wants to do.... "water, water, water".

I love pudding...

Adeline has been really silly lately. She knows how to show off, fake cry, and put on an act. It is pretty funny. She is talking a lot it seems like. She is putting a few words together.... like "more juice please" and stuff like that. She always points to the floor by her and says "sit" and wants to have our full attention. I love having my little buddy. Every time I do anything it seems like she always says, "Good girl mommy". Ah, so glad I am a good girl :) It is pretty cute.

She is in the "What's that?" stage. If I point to something and say "What's that?" and want her to tell me what it is, she just says "What's that" back, or repeats whatever I say. When we are walking through the store she points to everything and says, "What's that?"

Her and Chloe are still best buds. It's fun watching them interact. The following is a little video of them interacting. I was doing the dishes and Adeline was over by Chloe reading her book after book and talking to her. What a crack up!

John Bryan State Park and Young's Dairy

On Monday night we decided to go on a little hike at John Bryan State Park. The weather was perfect and it was so pretty! We took Chloe with us and she was such a trooper. Adeline mostly stayed in the hiking backpack, but on some of the flat spots, we let her walk by herself. She was great about the first quarter of the hike and after that she whined the entire time.

After we went hiking, we stopped at Young's Dairy on the way home. They have the BEST ice cream! They also have a bunch of animals... ducks, cows, goats, etc. So we got some yummy ice cream and then let Adeline go look at all the animals. It was a fun night!
