One of our favorite things to do in the summer is to ride our bikes or walk a couple blocks away to a little ice cream place. It is a family owned business and it is in the courtyard of the front of their house. It is super cute with lots of tables and umbrellas set up. We went so many times last year they had memorized all my kids names. Right before it opened up this year, we ran into the owner at our local grocery store. As soon as he saw us he said, "Hi Friends! Ice cream will be open next week!" Of course we had to go even though it was still a little bit chilly.
Afterwards, Abe had promised the girls he would take them camping in the backyard. He does this every year, but Norah never ends up making it all the way through the night. It took Norah quite awhile, but she did eventually fall asleep.
Of course the next morning was a Sunday. Meika was sick that day and I ended up staying at home with her. My friend Kelsey sent me a text of what Norah looked like at the end of Sacrament Meeting. It made me laugh because this would normally never happen. Think she went to bed too late the night before??
