Some of you have been asking for other pictures of our house, and I will soon!! I am just waiting until we have all our projects done and then I will take pictures.
During the week, I attended a playgroup with some of the other AFIT spouses at one of the Dayton metroparks. Among many other things, there was a little stream and places for kids to play in the water. Adeline LOVED it! She just crawled around in the little stream and played with a little friend she met.
On Friday night, we attended a Ward Camp out. Well, we kind of attended it. We showed up, ate dinner, socialized and then we went home and slept in our own beds. We debated on camping over night, but Adeline has been going to bed so late and needs her sleep. Sorry, no pictures.
On Saturday, Adeline attended her first Birthday party for her new friend Catherine. It was her 1st birthday! She thoroughly enjoyed herself with the other babies.

Adeline's new thing now is that if she eats at all.... she HAS to feed herself. It is getting quite ridiculous. Here is what she looked like last night after her dinner. NOT a fun cleanup.

I'm glad you are adjusting well to your new home. That's nice you are making friends. They are crucial:) Brian has to feed himself a lot lately too and it's so annoying. It's so much messier and he doesn't get as much in his mouth.
i totally agree about the door handles. looks way better! what metro park did you go to? that looks SOO fun!

It is so neat that you guys are able to fix up your house the way you want to, and that you have the skills to do so. I am excited to see before and after pics.
I am so glad that you could come to Catherine's birthday party. It was a lot of fun, and Catherine loved playing with Adeline.
She is so cute! I love it and miss you guys!!!! I have no clue where we will end up but I hope we see you guys sometime in the next year!!!

Way to go on the doors, they look new now! I love the pictures in the stream, I need to find a place like that for Thomas, he would just love it. I know it is such a pain to always have the kid who will only eat if they feed themselves, but she will learn earlier than most to do it well, and then you'll be happy. For now, we used a plastic tablecloth under the highchair and it saved a lot of messes. It gets better soon:-)
