The minivan
I always swore that I would never ever drive a minivan. I loved my Outlook and I loved that it had the captains chairs like a minivan and a third row. It was fully loaded and had everything I needed. The only down side was that they trunk space was tiny!! The last year or so I also had tons of problems. Roof leaks, brakes needing to be replaced over and over again, new power steering, new muffler… let's just say thousands of dollars were repaired on that car. At the end of January (maybe beginning of February), we found out that it was going to need a new transmission. Yikes! I really wanted a Tahoe and went and test drove one. There was less space in that thing that my outlook had! After driving and looking at several other SUVs, I broke down and looked at the Sienna and Odyssey. We ended up getting the Odyssey and I can now say that I LOVE my car! It makes my life so much easier AND it's so nice!!! Yay to the minivan! One day when my kids are all grown up, I'll drive whatever I want ;)

Meika's 3rd Birthday
Meika Moo, Meiky, "Meika, Meika, Meika!", gummy
It's crazy that Meika is already 3. It seems like just yesterday that were surprised with our 3rd perfect little girl. She has always been such a joy and so so happy. She has been such an easy kid! Now that I am behind blogging and she has been 3 for awhile, I can't really say the same exact things…. she definitely is THREE now. All my kids are hard at three. They are more stubborn, more independent and speak their mind more!
Meika at 3:
-Loves her siblings
-has a sweet tooth
-is a pretty good eater. Currently her favorites are: Chocolate milk and frozen gogurts
-Loves jumping on the trampoline, riding her bike, being outside, playing dolls and "family", magnatiles
-has a little sense of humor
For her birthday we did our tradition of birthday pancakes with candles and singing the birthday song. For dinner I let her pick what she wanted me to make and then we did presents and cake. She wanted a Sophia the First cake and I totally messed the cake up! I recovered it as best as I could and put the worst part in the back!

Steamboat Springs
In January we headed to Steamboat Springs and stayed in a Condo with Roni and Brett for the weekend. I loved just hanging out with them and letting the kids run around and play together. We went swimming, skiing, sledding, went to the hot air balloon festival and just sat around and talked. Steamboat Springs is such a cute little town. It reminded me of Park City and had some cowboy charm to it. Adeline loved skiing and was able to go night skiing two different times. She would have liked to have gone even more if she could have. She has absolutely no fear on skis and it is a little scary. One of the times I went with her I was trying to get her to turn. I would try to get her to follow me while I was turning and she would do it for a second. After a short time, she would get frustrated and would ignore me and do whatever she wanted. One night we took Meika skiing. I had wanted Norah to try it out the night before, but she refused as she had gone over Christmas in utah and thought it was too hard. The night Meika went, of course Norah changed her mind and said she wanted to go. Unfortunately I couldn't handle teaching both of them at the same time, so Norah had to stay behind. Meika was such a champ and had the best attitude. Not only was her attitude great, she was so good at skiing!!
