Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We had fun dressing Chloe and Adeline up today in their cute little costumes! I wanted to put Adeline in her costume all day, but it just wasn't that practical. She can't fit in her carseat anyway when she is wearing it. So I put her in a Orange dress today to be in the spirit and then put her in her costume tonight for Trunk-or-Treating. Everyone loved it! I dressed up as a cowgirl ( I know, pretty boring) and Abe didn't dress up at all....suprising, huh?!

Weekend Fun

First of all, on Friday I had our neighbor dog Gracie over at my house all day. All Chloe and Gracie did all day was run around the house in circles. It was crazy at our house. Chloe played so hard that she has not been able to keep her eyes open the past 24 hours because she is so tired.

On Friday, I took Adeline out in the Jogger for the first time and tried to go running. It actually went pretty well and she loved being able to face forward so she could look around.

Today it has been rainy so we have just been sitting around the house all day. Randomly, Abe was playing with Adeline and wanted to see if she would balance on his hand. Suprisingly, she is really good at doing stunts!

Adeline was blessed this weekend and we were able to hang out with family and friends!

COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND

During the weekend, we just hung out in between the conference talks and played with Adeline.

Her newest thing is reading books! She loves to look at the pictures while we read her the words


On Columbus day Abe had work off. We decided to go to Morro Bay to hang out for the day. It was a lot of fun!

So yesterday Adeline had to get her 2 month shots. Before we went to the doctor, she was a happy girl.

She had her regular check up first before they gave her all the shots and that didn't go too well. When I went to undress Adeline, she had poo all up her back to her neck. So her clothes were trashed. Luckily I brought an extra onesie. So I had to get her naked in the cold doctors office and wipe her entire back with a wipe. She was SCREAMING her head off. What a start to getting her shots. Then she got all of her shots and it was so hard to watch her. I have never heard such a sad cry. On the way home, she passed out for a bit in the car, but when we got home she started realizing that her legs hurt! So she was a sad girl yesterday.

Today, she has been much happier...and Chloe is even keeping a close eye on her and trying to cuddle her!

Starting to Blog!

So after all the recommendations to start my own blog, here I am! It definitely is a good way to keep in touch with people to know what is going on. Nothing is too new with the Barker family. We just spend all of our free time hanging out with Adeline, and of course our dog Chloe. Adeline is now 8 weeks old today and it is crazy to think she is growing up so fast. She already has a new friend that is three weeks older than her and we have been hanging out with him lately. That is about it for this Blog and hopefully next time I can share something a little more exciting!!
