About a week ago there was a big Easter Egg hunt and festivities on base. The girls were so excited about the hunt and love that there were ponies to ride there They were both wearing the perfect attire... cowboy boots. On Sunday we had a nice Easter. We went to church and then when we came back the Easter bunny had hidden some eggs around our yard. The girls had fun running around finding them and then we had dinner with some friends that night.
I have gotten way behind in posting everything that has been happening. While Abe's parents were in town, we hit up Paris on "our way home" from Normandy. It ended up being beautiful, warm weather which was nice. We took the metro in to the city from our hotel and walked to most of the places we wanted to see. I did feel a little crazy being practically the only one with little kids, and 3 little kids. Abe and Dale had to carry the double stroller up and down the stairs to the metro. Let's just say that it was a little (or a lot) exhausting and we aren't in a hurry to get back to that busy city. Besides the kid factor though, we loved it and had a ton of fun. We also visited the little town of Monschau, Germany. I love this place. We already went there for the Christmas market, but loved it so much and thought it would be fun to bring them. Unfortunately a lot of the town was shut down, but we did find a couple of shops and restaurants that were open.
Last but not least, a picture of our little picnic at the park in our neighborhood after Adeline's school
